Biography
Dušan Mirković was a weightlifter from Serbia who competed for Yugoslavia, setting more than 50 state records. Mirković was the captain of the national team from 1971 to 1980 and a 10-time national champion. He was the Balkan champion in 1976 and was bestowed with the Jovan Mikić Spartak award in the same year. At the Mediterranean Games Mirković won a silver and two bronze medals. At the 1980 Moskva Olympics he finished in 12th place in the middleweight category.
