Biography

Mario De Silva was an Italian Greco-Roman wrestler who made his international début in the lightweight class at München in 1957 in a meeting with West Germany, where he lost by decision to Neumayr. In 1959 he was fourth in Savona in the Italy-Germany-France-Turkey quadrangular tournament. De Silva competed at the 1960 Roma Olympic Games where he was eliminated after two rounds.
