Biography

Rob Eiter wrestled freestyle at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He wrestled in college at Arizona State University and also competed for the Sunkist Wrestling Club. Eiter competed at the 1995 World Championships, finishing fifth. He was a five-time US Champion and twice won silver medals in World Cup events.

Eiter later became a wrestling coach. He was an assistant at Clarion State College in Pennsylvania from 1993-98, and then became an assistant at Northwestern. Eiter was named head coach at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and coached there until 2014. He later took over as an assistant at the University of Maryland.
