Biography

Polish basketball player Andrzej Kasprzak spent his entire club career with Lublinianki, representing the team in 219 matches across 14 seasons. Kasprzak won the Polish junior championship with the club in 1965 and went on to score 4,613 points for Lublinianki, a club record at the time of his death.

From 1967 to 1972 Kasprzak represented the national team 98 times, scoring 461 points. He was a two-time Olympian, competing at the 1968 Mexico City Games and the 1972 München Games. At the Mexico City Olympics the Polish team finished in sixth place with Kasprzak playing in five matches, scoring 13 points. In München the team dropped down to 10th place with Kasprzak scoring 77 points in eight matches.
