Biography

Tony Blue was an 800 metre specialist who competed at both the 1960 and 1964 Olympic Games. Blue won the 800 m / 880 yd at the Australian Championships in 1959 and 1962-63. He won bronze at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games, and was world ranked #10 in 1962. Blue later became a physician, practicing in Brisbane.
