Irving Parkes was a Canadian middle-distance runner who represented Toronto West End YMCA. He specialised in the 800 metres and was selected to run in the event at the 1908 London Olympics, but he was eliminated in the heats. Parkes was also part of the Canadian quartet that ran in the 1,600 metres medley relay in London.
