Biography

Sprinter Sabine Richter later married non-Olympian hurdler Heiko Buß. Her career was as a biology lab assistant. In 1988 she placed fourth with the sprint relay at the Seoul Olympics and was eliminated in the second round of the 100. She also participated in the 1991 World Championships (bronze with the relay), the 1990 Europeans, the 1991 European Cup (runner-up with the relay), and at 1989 European Indoors (sixth in the 60). In 1989 she also won her lone West German title in the indoors 60.

Personal Best: 100 – 11.39 (1991).
