Biography

Manisha Malhotra was an Indian tennis player who played professionally from 1996 to 2004. Malhotra achieved a career-best singles ranking of #314 in the world in April 2003 and a doubles ranking of #149 in the world in April 2002. On the ITF Circuit she won five singles and seven doubles titles, and was a mainstay on India’s Fed Cup team. In 2000 she competed in the doubles at the Sydney Olympics with Nirupama Vaidyanathan but they lost to the Australian pair of Jelena Dokic and Rennae Stubbs. Two years later Malhotra won silver in the mixed doubles with partner Mahesh Bhupathi.
