Vladimir Vlasenko played as a midfielder for the St. Petersburg club Merkur from 1910-14 except for the 1911 season, when he joined Triumph. He represented St. Petersburg in the selection match against Moskva (Moscow) and was subsequently nominated for the Stockholm Olympics. There, however, he was just an unused reserve and never played an official match for the Russian national team. His further fate is unknown.
