Biography

Michael Okantey had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 4×110 yards Relay (with Michael Ahey and the non-Olympians Bonner Mends and Bukari Bashiru). In the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games Okantey also finished fourth in the 220 yards and was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 100 yards.

Personal Bests: 100 – 10.4 (1962); 200 – 21.0y (1963).
