Biography

Magalì Vettorazzo was an Italian athlete who competed in the pentathlon at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. She won a bronze medal at the 1967 Mediterranean Games in the 80 metre hurdles. Vettorazzo was capped 32 times for Italy, also competing at the European Championships in the long jump in 1962, the pentathlon and 80 metre hurdles in 1966, and the 100 metre hurdles in 1969. She won 18 Italian Championships, winning the 80/100 metre hurdles four times (1965-67, 1969), the long jump seven times (1961-64, 1966-67, 1969), and the pentathlon seven times (1961, 1963, 1965-67, 1969-70). She was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera.
