Biography

Kimaru Songok had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 440 yards Hurdles. He also finished fifth in the 4×440 yards relay (with Peter Francis, Seraphino Antao, and Wilson Kiprugut) and was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 440 yards of the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. In the 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games Songok was eliminated in the heats of the 120 yards hurdles as well as of the 440 yards hurdles.

Personal Bests: 110H – 14.4 (1968); 400H – 50.66 (1968).
