Biography

Gérard Rasquin’s greatest international victories came in winning two bronze medals in the Universiade in 1948-49, running the 400 and 800 m. He became best known as a sports administrator in Luxembourg, serving as President of Comité olympique et sportif luxembourgeois from 1977-89.

Personal Bests: 400 – 48.7 (1951); 800 – 1:50.4 (1953).
