Biography

Dutch track sprinter Wim Hennings represented AAC in Amsterdam during the 1920s. In 1928 Hennings finished third in the 100 metres trials in Haarlem to earn himself a place on the Olympic team. At the 1928 Amsterdam Games he finished fourth in his heat with only the top two athletes progressing to the next round. Hennings was also scheduled to run in the 200 metres and the 4 × 100 metres relay but did not start in either.
