Biography

During the 1920s Norwegian track and field athlete Arild Lenth competed in the long jump and triple jump. Lenth took part in both events at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, finishing 21st in the triple jump, and 31st in the long jump. He had better success back home where he became the Norwegian champion in both events in 1928 in addition to winning another long jump title in 1929. Lenth represented Hamar IL and later became the chair of the club from 1946 to 1947.
