Biography

Karel Pott was a native Mozambican who represented Portugal in athletics at the 1924 Olympics. He later worked as a lawyer, and was at the head of the campaign to end apartheid in Mozambique. He also worked to close several of the gambling casinos in the Portuguese colony.
