Biography

Swedish track and field athlete Olle Bexell represented IFK Luleå where he competed in the decathlon. Bexell won four consecutive national titles in the event from 1935 to 1938, with his winning score in 1936 standing as a Swedish record until 1966. He competed in the decathlon at the 1936 Berlin Olympics where he finished seventh. In 1938 Bexell won gold in the event at the European Athletics Championships and won his only Swedish title in the pentathlon.
