Biography

Rauf Hasağası was a Turkish sprinter who set several national records in the 100 and 200 metres during the 1920s. In May 1923 Hasağası broke the Turkish record for the 100 metres, with the time standing until November 1929. He was also a two-time national record holder in the 200 metres, the first from August 1922 to August 1923, and the second from May 1924 until August 1928. Hasağası ran in the 100 metres at the 1924 Paris Olympics but was eliminated in the heats.
