Biography

Nicole Carroll was a weight thrower who competed at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in the javelin throw. Carroll had thrown the discus and shot in high school, but converted to the javelin at San Mateo Community College, where she won the 1989 California Junior College Meet. She later graduated from Cal State Fresno in 1991, where her best NCAA finishes in the javelin were sixth in 1991 and seventh in 1990. Carroll won the 1994 Olympic Festival. She also competed at the 1995 and 1997 World Championships. Carroll won US titles in 1996 and 1998, also finishing second in 1994, and third in 1997.

Personal Best: JT – 62.74 (1995).
