Biography

East German speed skater Sigrit Behrenz from East Berlin competed at the 1960 Squaw Valley and the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. She finished 18th in both the 500 and the 1,000 metres in 1960, and finished 25th in the 500 metres at Innsbruck. She never won a national title.

Personal Bests: 500 – 50.2 (1960); 1000 – 1:43.8 (1960); 1500 – 2:45.8 (1960); 3000 – 5:50.3 (1964).
