Biography

Heiderun Ludwig was an Austrian cross-country skier who participated in the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics and was the first Olympian from Dornbirn. She placed 20th over 5 km and 25th over 10 km. As a cross-country skier she won eight national titles. Ludwig was also active as a track & field athlete in javelin, high jump, shot put, and middle- and long-distance running. Between 1957 and 1967 she won 15 medals at Austrian championships.
