Biography
Hansjörg Aschenwald helped Austria win a bronze medal in the 1988 Nordic combined team event at Calgary, along with Günther Csar and Klaus Sulzenbacher. Individually he placed 24th in 1988. On the World Cup circuit, he finished 30th in the 1990-91 and 1992-93 seasons, with a best individual World Cup finish of 10th.
