Biography

Jean Dauven was a French sportsman, journalist, and writer. Dauven competed in the bobsleigh during the 1930s where he finished ninth in the four-man event at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics. He later moved into journalism, writing for the French newspaper Le Figaro in addition to publishing a book about bobsledding.
