Biography

Like his younger brother, Don, Bill Dupree was a football player in high school but he never played on the college level. He became interested in bobsledding when the Olympic track was built for the 1932 Olympics. He later would be part of the winning team in the 1947 AAU 4-man championships as well as winning an Olympic medal. Dupree worked in the family construction business most of his life, but moved to New Jersey four years before his death. He also served with the US Army for three years during World War II.
