Biography

Rolf Ericsson began his ice hockey career in 1934 when he joined Södertälje SK as a junior player. Two years later Ericsson made his début as a senior player, remaining with the club until his retirement in 1952. He also had a lengthy career with the Swedish national team, playing in 80 matches and scoring 60 goals. He won two silver medals at the World Ice Hockey Championships (1947, 1951) and represented the team at the 1948 St. Moritz Olympics.
