Biography

Werner George was an ice hockey player who played for SC Brandenburg Berlin, SC Riessersee, Berliner Schlittschuhclub and Kriegsspielgemeinschaft Berliner SC/Brandenburg Berlin. He won the German Championship with all the clubs he played for. At the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch Partenkirchen he was a member of the German ice hockey team which finished fifth. He was inducted into the German Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988.
