Biography

Ed Horton was a member of the Saranac Lake Red Devils which won the 1931 and 1932 North American and AAU 4-man championships. This same team of Horton, Percy Bryant, Henry Homburger and Paul Stevens also won the silver medal at the 1932 Olympics. Horton studied at Cornell and lived all his life in Saranac Lake where he was a greenhouse proprietor and florist. In his youth he was also an outstanding speed skater
