Biography

Michael Huth was an East German figure skater who competed in the men’s singles and pairs events. As a singles skater, he finished a disappointing 23rd at the 1988 Calgary Winter Games. The same year he had won the national title. Huth later became a very successful coach, and amongst others, coached Carolina Kostner, Tomáš Verner and non-Olympian Annette Dytrt.
