Olga Shishigina was the gold medalist in the 100 metre hurdles at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Shishigina was twice a medalist at the World Championships in the 100 hurdles, winning silver in 1995 and bronze in 2001. She was also 1999 World Indoor Champion in the 60 metre hurdles, placing second in that event in 1995. Shishigina served a two-year ban for doping from 1996-98.
