Biography
Austrian bobsledder Franz Köfel partnered Dieter Delle Karth in the two-men-bob at the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics, finishing sixth. He was also a member of the four-men Austria II bob that also finished sixth. In 1978, Köfel won a European Championship with the four-men bob. He later became an Austrian customs officer and regional politician.
