Biography

George Banker was an American professional sprinter who won the 1898 World Championships. His other victories included the 1894 Grand Prix de Paris and the 1895 Grand Prix de l’UVF. He placed second at the World Championship in 1895 and was also third that year at the Grand Prix de Paris.
