Biography

Marc-Konstantin Steifensand was a German épée fencer who finished fifth with the team and 22nd individually at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. At the 1997 and 1999 World Championships, he won two team silver medals with the German team. In 1999, he added a team bronze at the Europeans. Steifensand later studied physics and graduated. He subsequently worked at the Gundremmingen nuclear power plant and became a consultant for nuclear power plant decommissioning.
