Biography

Jang Ui-Jong was a South Korean professional tennis player who competed in the Davis Cup from 1991 to 1996. At the 1991 Summer Universiade he and Ji Seung-Ho won the gold medal in the doubles. The following year Jang competed in the singles and doubles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics where he was eliminated in the first round in both competitions. He had better success at the 1994 Asian Games, winning silver in the doubles and bronze in the mixed doubles.
