Biography

Christie Ambrosi was a softball player who won gold with the USA team at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She also won gold medals at the 1999 Pan American Games and the 1995 World Junior Championships. She played both outfield and shortstop. Ambrosi played in college at UCLA and was named to the Pac-12 conference team in 1996-97 and 1999.

Ambrosi later held several coaching positions in softball. She coached at Kansas City Softball Academy and her own Christie Ambrosi Clinics, before being named head coach at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona in 2018. She then served as head coach at Saginaw Valley State University from 2020-22.
