Biography

Jennifer Brundage was an American softball player who won a gold medal with TeamUSA at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She also won gold with USA at the 1999 Pan American Games. Brundage played in college at UCLA, helping them win the 1992 College World Series, and finish as runner-up in 1993, and won the 1995 Honda Sports Award as the NCAA Player of the Year. She played professionally in the ASA with the California Commotion, helping them win four consecutive national titles (1996-99) and was a six-time ASA Women’s Major All-American at third base and outfield.

Brundage went into softball coaching, starting as an assistant at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1996. She then was an assistant coach at her alma mater in 1997-98, before becoming an assistant pitching coach at the University of Michigan. Brundage helped lead the Wolverines to the 2005 College World Series title. Brundage was inducted into the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame in 2007. In addition to her UCLA degree she added a master’s degree in sports management from Michigan.
