Jennifer McFalls played mostly shortstop, and some utility infield, for the US softball team that won gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. McFalls played ball in college at Texas A&M University, graduating with a degree in kinesiology in 1997. She led the Aggies in batting average all four of her college seasons and was named Texas A&M’s Female Athlete of the Year in 1994.

McFalls played on the US National Team from 1994-2000, winning a gold at the 1998 World Championships and the Pan American Games in 1999. She played one year of pro ball with the WPSL Gold in 2001. Even while playing she began a coaching career starting in 1995-97 at her alma mater as an assistant and then one season at the University of Oklahoma. From 2002-03 she was softball director at Power Alley in Grand Prairie, Texas and became head coach and assistant athletic director at Hockday School in Dallas from 2003-05.

In 2005 McFalls took similar positions at Midlothian High School and was an assistant coach for Team USA. She was then head coach of the National Pro Fastpitch professional softball team, the Dallas Charge. In 2018 McFalls became the head coach at the University of Kansas.
