Biography

Tommy Hannan was a butterfly and medley swimmer who won a gold medal in the medley relay at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He also won gold at the 1999 World University Games in the 200 individual medley.

Hannan attended the University of Texas, helping them win NCAA team titles in 2000-02. Before graduating in 2003 he swam on NCAA championship relay teams in the medley relay and 4x00 free relay. Hannan became a coach at the University of Washington and coached the Power and National groups for King Aquatic Club.
