Biography

Julia Stowers was a freestyler who won a gold medal in the 4x200 metre freestyle relay at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She also won a silver medal in the same event at the 1999 Pan American Games.

Stowers graduated from the University of Tennessee, and then attended law school at the University of Memphis, earning a J.D. degree. As Julia Dilworth, she became an assistant district attorney for Shelby County in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2021 she also started coaching the swim teams at Delta State University as a volunteer assistant.
