Hunter Kemper was a four-time triathlon Olympian for the United States, posting a best finish of seventh in 2008. He won a gold medal at the 2003 Pan American Games after winning silver in 1999 at the Pan Ams.
Kemper ran track and cross-country at Wake Forest University, graduating in 1998 with a business degree. He had also been an age-group swimmer and took up triathlon as a young boy and eventually won seven USA Championships. He had a best world ranking of #1 by the International Triathlon Union, which he achieved in 2005.
