Biography
Joe McNulty skied for the Tilton School in New Hampshire and later for Middlebury College. In 1970 he was second at the NCAAs in cross-country skiing. He later worked for the Appalachian Mountain Club, helping cut trails, notably the Wildcat Valley Trail in Jackson, New Hampshire. He became head of the Waterville Valley ski touring operation in the 1970s. McNulty also would compete in distance running, placing 14th in the 1976 Mount Washington Road Race.
