Biography

Mack Miller was the son of Helen Markley-Miller, a prolific writer of children’s historical fiction. One of her novels, Ski Fast, Ski Long, was based on the exploits of her son’s skiing career. Miller skied for Western State College, winning the 1957 NCAA cross-country championship. He later worked as a ski instructor.
