Biography

Ladislav Šmíd played for 12 seasons in the Czechslovakian League, all with HC Dukla Jihlava, from 1958-71. He played defense and competed at the 1964 Winter Olympics, winning a bronze medal, and at two World Championships – 1966-67, winning a silver medal in 1966. Little else is known of his life or career.
