Biography
Grigore Socolescu was a Romanian bobsledder. Socolescu competed in the four-man bobsleigh at the 1928 St. Moritz Olympics. The Romanian #2 team finished in seventh place. Socolescu’s brother Mircea Socolescu was a geologist who also competed in the bobsleigh at the 1928 Games.
