Biography

Józef Szymański was a Polish winter athlete who competed in bobsled, luge, and skeleton, although only in bobsled at the Winter Olympics, as the other sports were not on the program in his era. Szymański was 1951 Polish luge doubles champion. He achieved all this after spending four years of World War II in a labor camp in Berlin.
