Biography

Pertti Teurajärvi won all of his international championship medals in the relay. He won a bronze at the 1971 World Junior Championships, gold at the 1976 Winter Olympics, silver at the 1978 World championships, and bronze at the 1980 Winter Olympics. His best individual place at those championships was 12th in the 15 km at the 1978 World Championships. Domestically Teurajärvi won one gold, eleven silvers, and five bronzes at the Finnish Championships.
