Erwin Arnold was an Austrian bobsledder, participating in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. He teamed up with Herbert Schösser, Peter Leismüller, and Martin Schützenauer in the four men bob Austria I. They finished a disappointing tied ninth with Canada. At international competitions Arnold had the following results: European Championships runner-up 1998 in Igls, bronze medallist at the 1999 European s in Winterberg, and sixth at the 1997 Worlds in Sankt Moritz (St. Moritz).
Arnold was also a six-time national champion (1997-2002). By profession, he was an employee of the Tyrolean state government.
