Venues Mottolino Montagna del Divertimento / Carosello 3000, Livigno, Sondrio

Freestyle skiing was contested at the Livigno Cluster during the 2026 Olympic Winter Games, at what was termed the Livigno Snow Park, although also known as the Mottolino Montagna del Divertimento prior to the Winter Olympics. The programme was enlarged yet again to 15 full events with the addition of dual moguls events for men and women. The 2026 freestyle skiing programme had seven events for men and women, with a mixed team aerials event.

China led the medal table with three gold medals and nine medals, although the United States also won three golds, and eight total medals. In all 15 nations won freestyle medals, while eight won golds, with Australia, Canada, and Norway also taking two events.

The top individual was China’s Eileen Gu, who added a gold and two silver medals to the two golds and one silver she had won at Beijing 2022. No freestyler brought home two golds from Livigno, although nine other skiers did earn two Olympic medals. For Gu, this gave her six medals and three gold medals, as she had won two golds and a silver at Beijing 2022, both marks putting her at the top among Olympic freestyle skiers.

In all, 272 skiers competed in freestyle at Milano-Cortina 2026, with 138 women and 134 men, from 24 nations. This was the fourth most competitors of any discipline, after ice hockey, Alpine skiing, and cross-country skiing.
