The women’s parallel giant slalom at the 2026 Winter Olympics brought together a formidable field led by two-time defending champion Ester Ledecká, and 2025 World Champion Tsubaki Miki of Japan. The qualification rounds were highly competitive, with mere hundredths of a second separating many athletes. Ledecká and fellow compatriot Zuzana Maděrová topped the standings, with Miki and Lucia Dalmasso of Italy closely behind.

Ledecká and Miki advanced steadily through the ensuing elimination rounds, but were both eliminated in the quarterfinals, setting the semifinals to feature Austria’s Sabine Payer to face Dalmasso, and Maděrová to face off against Italy’s Elisa Caffont. Eventually, Maděrová and Payer would compete for the gold in the big final, with Maděrová finishing 0.83 seconds ahead of Payer. The two Italians, Dalmasso and Caffont faced off in front of the home crowd to contest the bronze in the small final, which was won by Dalmasso by a margin of 0.11 seconds.
