Biography

Bjarne Angell played only doubles at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, partnering Noble Stibolt. Angell won one Norwegian national title, the 1915 doubles championship, alongside Conrad Langaard. He was the son of a grocery and wine merchant in Kristiania (Oslo) aand took over the business with his two brothers when his father retired in the mid-1920s. Angell married a Swedish woman and moved to Sweden where he lived until his death in December 1938.
