Biography

Noble Stibolt played singles and doubles at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, partnering with Bjarne Angell in the doubles. Stibolt was Norwegian doubles champion in 1910-11, alongside Valborg Bjurstedt. Stibolt lived abroad from 1913-26, working to promote the Norwegian export industry. On his return to Norway he built and directed two tennis halls, one at Skøyen in Oslo and one in Bergen.
